Web Design, SEO & Digital Marketing in Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix

Potato fields as far as you can see, and Route 323 bringing people through who aren’t planning to stop. Unless you give them a reason.

Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix sits north of Montebello in a valley carved by glaciers about 20,000 years ago. The Petite Nation River runs through it, and the soil is good enough that potatoes became the local identity. Les Fermes Petite Nation, a potato grower based here, was bought by Québec Parmentier in 2021. The parish goes back to 1902.

It’s a quiet village, but Rue Notre-Dame has more going on than you’d expect: a gelato shop, an inn, Asian take-out, a maple shop just outside. Around it, farms selling direct, a riding ranch, a painter who opens her studio by appointment. And the Héritage golf course, which keeps people around in summer and winter.

What makes Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix

Potato country

Potatoes take up a lot of the landscape and the local economy. In fall, with the colours turning, the back roads are worth the detour.

Héritage golf course

An 18-hole, 6,700-yard course opened in 1992, laid out without blasting to follow the land. In winter it’s cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, with rentals on site.

Petite Nation River

It runs along the bottom of the glacial valley and is a big reason the farmland here is so good.

Local artists

Painter and stone sculptor Louise Falstrault, born in Montreal in 1947, keeps her studio and a small gallery here. Visits by appointment, year-round.

Getting found in Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix

Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix is on Route 323, a road plenty of people take heading north. They search on the move: ice cream, take-out, a place to sleep that won’t break the bank. Golfers want a tee time; families want a farm where they can stock the freezer. What small businesses around here often lack online is current seasonal hours on Google, a clear list of what’s for sale, and an English version. We’d build a simple bilingual site with seasonal hours, products and a clear map, and a Google profile that works for you when people drive by.

Frequently asked questions

I sell at the farm gate. What would a website do for me?

Say clearly what you have, when you’re open and how to order. People looking to fill a freezer search for that on Google, often from Gatineau or Ottawa. A simple site answers those questions so you don’t take the same call ten times.

My customers mostly come in summer. Is it worth it?

Yes, if the site is current at the right time. We can post the season, hours and what’s new, and set it up so you can change it yourself.

Where are you based?

In Montpellier, in the same MRC. We work across Petite-Nation and can meet you on site.

My business is small. Is an online presence worth the investment?

Yes, particularly in a rural region. A complete Google profile and a simple site are often enough to stand out from competitors who aren't online. We start with what pays off most for your budget.
