Information collected

Without your consent, this site does not automatically collect any personal information and sets no cookies. It uses no advertising trackers. Fonts are hosted on our own server.

Cookie-free audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We count visits with Cloudflare's tool: pages viewed, the page you came from, country, browser and device type, page load speed. According to Cloudflare, it uses no cookies or browser storage and doesn't try to recognize individuals. We only see totals, never a single visit. Provider: Cloudflare; data may be processed outside Québec and Canada.

Google Analytics, only if you accept

Nothing loads until you click Accept in the banner. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, holding a pseudonymous identifier (a random number, not your name) to recognize your browser from one visit to the next. It measures pages viewed, device and browser type and your approximate region. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses. Provider: Google LLC (United States); data is processed outside Québec and Canada. The cookies last 12 months at most, and Google keeps the detailed data for 14 months. We don't use it for advertising.

Withdrawing consent

The Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page reopens the banner. Click Decline: Google Analytics stops loading and the _ga cookies are deleted. Your choice is kept in your browser (not in a cookie), and we ask again after 12 months.

Contact form

What you enter in the contact form (name, email, message and, if you provide them, business, phone, municipality and service needed) is sent to us only by email, at info@petitenationnumerique.ca. It is not stored in any database, on this site or anywhere else. It is used only to answer your request. To block abuse, your IP address is used to limit the number of messages sent, without being kept. Providers: Cloudflare (form delivery) and DreamHost (our mailbox); data may be processed outside Québec and Canada.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

On the contact page only, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person and not a bot. To do this, it analyzes technical signals from your browser and device (for example the browser type and how the page is used), usually without asking you to solve a puzzle. According to Cloudflare, this data is used only to detect bots, not for advertising. Provider: Cloudflare; data may be processed outside Québec and Canada.

Retention

We keep your correspondence as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on our business relationship, then delete it securely.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to the person named above. You may also file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Personal information governance policy

Roles and responsibilities: Robert Scales, Person in charge of the protection of personal information, approved this policy and sees that it is applied.

What we collect: only what you write in the contact form. The message is sent by email (through Cloudflare, then DreamHost's mail server) and isn't stored in any database. Your IP address is used only to limit the number of messages sent and isn't kept. Google Analytics loads only after you consent. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies.

Retention and destruction: as set out under Retention above.

Complaints: write to info@holistichybrid.com. We answer in writing within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Confidentiality incidents: we keep a register of incidents. If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned.

Changes

If we add other measurement or advertising tools, any that set cookies will only be activated with your explicit consent, and this policy will be updated.
