I am in Olympia, Washington today meeting with a few Drupalists and community enthusiasts and recorded an episode of Radiocity Radio about Olyblog.net. This web community does not lack for activity and host vibrant and heart-flt discussions on all matters related to Washington's capitol city.

OlyWa is home to Evergreen State College, a giant closed brewery, a military base up the road, indie records labels and rock bands in abundance - with this diverse mix of interests and political persuasions, discussions quickly got well, ... a bit uncivilized at times. Recognizing the importance of transparency and inclusion, Olyblog set up a cadre of docents to offer some degree of "refereeing" within the community conversation.

I sat down at Cherry St. Cafe with Emmett, an Olyblog.net docent focused on city hall issues, along with drupalist Nat Taylor and network guru/political pundit Jacob Stewart - both of ISP Zhonka Broadband - to talk about community building from a technical and shall we say ... personality ... Point of Views.

Olyblog.net member Oldtimey Dave took some snaps of our conversation and i'll post those along with the show.
