Welcome to the new Raincity Studios' web site, this is our fourth version in just over 18 months, I have to say I am ecstatic about it.
As you may know, we moved our old RCS website and blog, The Standard to the Drupal platform. This meant we had to make a lot of changes and a few sacrifices.
Mark has been working on the site for the past few weeks and I've been working on reposting some of the content from the old version of the Standard on Blogger. (You can still view it without images and style sheet, text only)

Out with the old, in with the new
This said, I would like to extend an apology to those of you who have linked to us in the past. Now that we are using Bryght's hosted service, we had to sacrifice the old content on the account of DNS forwarding and our inexperience when we started The Standard back in the fall of 2004. I will try to repost as many articles as possible from the original standard and I hope to salvage some of those lost links.
More to come
Many changes are still to come; I know Mark said he planned on redesigning the template of the blog page so it looks different from Raincity Studios' site. But I doubt it is high on his plate as we are swamped with projects and events. But knowing Mark, it will be sooner than later.
A merger to make us stronger
Another big development at RCS over the past week, is the merger between Raincity and Goodbasic. Adding a new managing partner to our team. With Will Pate as our new Sales and Marketing Director, we are in good hands. Will is a solid blogger, genius and charming sales person. For those of you unfamiliar with WillPate.org, I would suggest browsing Will's archive.

I hope that those of you who have been loyal readers will continue the journey with us and be patient while we are improving our sites, blogs and services to better serve you.
