I've been keeping myself busy over the past few days: attending the Banff New Media Institute's Interactive Screen 0.5, catching up on my RCS work, homework, mingling with the many people here, and exploring Banff.
To compensate for my inability to be at more than one place at the same time, I have been listening to the live feed while working in my room.
For those of you who would like to listen to the conference, follow these instructions:
- Open this web page
- click on the "click here to listen live"
- It should open the feed in your default music player
(I’m on mac and it automatically open my iTunes)
One unfortunate thing is that the keynotes from the speakers will not be loaded on the BNMI website until September, making it a bit hard to follow when they complement their presentation with some visual references.
