Steve Comeau, President & CEO, Collideascope Digital Productions (Nova Scotia) and Ken Bautista, Principal & Vice President, Hotrocket Digital Technology Solutions (Alberta) presented some of their past and current projects.

Both speakers guided us through some of the recently completed projects and some currently in production. They spoke about their experience developing content for children, games and learning tools. I would recommend taking a tour of their web sites to see some of those specific projects.

On a personal note, having had a chance to spend some time with Ken over the past few days, it was great to learn more about his company and how they produce. RCS and Hot Rocket have many point of commonalities; we both are the same size, we follow more or less the same business philosophies and we are both interested in collaborative work and strategic partnerships.

Ken has been working closely with the accelerator program of the BNMI for the past year. I first met him at Massive 2005 in Vancouver where his company shared a booth with the Banff Centre.

Now, half a year later, I got to know him better and we are currently planning on co-developing some projects together.
