Phew!

General consensus after Day One: Wow, there's a lot to take in, share, gain, learn, absorb.

Wow, we love Drupal.

Buzz words from Day One: community, inspiring, empowering, encouraging, exhilarating, contribution, open.

The diversity of our group that has assembled here at Drupal Camp Seattle has proven to be what has made the Camp invigorating thus far. There's a lot of idea collaboration and sharing and transferring of knowledge happening in each of the sessions. It only makes sense to have such an open forum for such an open platform.

The sessions have been run primarily by crew members from Raincity, Bryght and CivicActions. That said, they're set up in a way where the contribution from everyone involved opens up much discussion.

On the developers side of things, Mark Yuasa and Cathy Wang of Raincity have included a fairly extensive list of links that run pretty deep are will prove to be pretty useful for theming: theme able functions and the views module.

Nancy White from Full Circle Associates has written a whole slew of points and notes on her version of Day One - thanks Nancy!

The non-developers of the group spent their day learning neat stuff like how to bootstrap their site with Drupal and exploring the question what the heck is a module anyhow and what do we want and need from modules in 4.7?

Day Two is all about open source - what else? There will be a ton of hacking fun for our gurus and a lot of yakking, listening and learning on theming, content, getting your site from development to production... anything under the umbrella of all the wonderful things Drupal can do for you:)
