Threat From Outer Space

A few years back, I was introduced by a friend to Ryan Cranston of TFOS, a Vancouver band who's made it's mark on the Canadian indie music scene, busting lines and entertaining their fans since 1997.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of seeing the band play live many times and got to know them a bit better.

Bomb Beat Music Since 1997

Walking on the width of a blade is the third release from TFOS on the group's own label, ConceptIcon Records. The album is sampling style from Hip Hop, Funk, House, Jazz, Rock and Improvisation.

With their music being played on many community and university radio stations across Canada, TFOS toured heavily playing over 60 live dates in 2004.

Music Video

As part of my last term at school in the New media Program at BCIT, I had to produce a 4-5 min. music video for my Final Cut Pro course.

With the help of a few class mates; Keri and Boris, we wrote a script, drafted a storyboard and I approached TFOS about doing the video for "Walking on the width of a blade".

The gang all pitched in, and we shoot the band's first music video in Vancouver between August and October 2004.
