I'll post a list later of the most common jargon used at the conference, but "Long Tail" had to be in the top 3. Mr. Robert Scoble, "Chief Blogging Officer" of Microsoft, has nothing to worry about when it comes to the "Long Tail," he's at the very "head" of the the blogging A-List.

Northern Voice definitely drew out the heavy-hitters for this keynote. Mr. Scoble leads the army of bloggers at MS, who endeavour to put a human face on the software monolith. This post in particular speaks of their own corporate blog growing pains.

His talk entitled, "How I read 1000 Weblogs a Day," strayed some, ranging from Halo 2 to the Tsunami. PubSub, Technorati, and Flickr were explained at length.

The "Scobleizer" was even kind enough to give an attendee some technical support on how to add "Mark all as read" in Outlook! Is that customer care or what?

Here's a juicy paraphrase:

If it doesn't have an RSS feed, I wont read it.

- Robert Scoble

Mr.Scoble received a call from Dave Winer during the talk, and the latter got snubbed!
