Northern Voice was a resounding success. There was plenty of inspiration and enlightening debate to be had, but with any conference you can't escape the limitations of time and space.

I refer to Panel Envy or Panel Buyer's Remorse. You always wonder if you made the right choice in choosing this topic over the other.

After the keynote, I attended:

  • Podcasting
  • Community Blogging
  • Building Traffic
  • Multimedia

Of these, I found Community and Traffic to be most enlightening. And, multimedia... well, let's just say it wasn't the height of gentility.

Apparently, Social with Julie Leung was the "Best of Show" and I missed it!

I was also intrigued by Academia, Citizen Journalist and Personal Blogs. Arrg. Thankfully, you can piece much of the proceedings together with PubSub and Technorati.

Next time, Raincity is bringing a battalion with notepads and Coffee on IV.
