I stumbled across this useful article hot off of attending a recent New Media BC seminar.

Rob and I try and make the rounds to industry presentations around town as often as we can. One thing we can't avoid – other than tepid sodas – is dry PowerPoint presentations. Jeffrey Veen, the author of the article, has this to say:

"...the problem isn't Powerpoint... The problem is bad content delivered poorly."

The seminar, featuring Darren Barefoot and Roland Tanglao, was great, by the way. View Roland's Vancouver community blog.

I don't have the solution to the aging PowerPoint Presentation model, but change is required. Surely, we can do something as a community. We are in the new media biz after all!
