Another fine dinner and a little break watching The Family Guy. We reflected on what we believed the event would be like.
Over the past few weeks, as we researched past events and explored the proposed inspiration websites. We soon realized that flash development was a must in order to achieve the requirements.
Coming from two guys who have little appreciation for Macromedias' software. Although it provide users with rich experiences that deliver superior results for interactive content. My problem with Flash is it's poor indexing ability with Search Engines. But, I have to admit that it is a powerful software.

This weekend is surely showing me the power of this authoring tool when creating a project like the one we are currently developing..

Once we figured the part on how to use the inspiration package to it's full potential, we felt much confident about our endeavour.
Speaking of requirements, here's the evaluation guidelines for the finished productions.
They will be judged by the festival audiences online, as well as at the post-SLAM Gala. A panel of new media experts will be awarding prizes during the party finale and top 5 placing productions will be showcased on the big screen.
Winning projects for the ZeD People's Choice and Critics' Award categories will be featured at the Vancouver International Digital Festival (VIDFEST) June 2005 (More information is available at (http://www.VIDFEST.com)
